Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking season 3 will premiere on Food Network this holiday season.
The show is switching things up with a new team format.
Fans had a lot to say about the future of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking.
Calling all Harry Potter fans! Your favorite food series is returning this fall—and has a shocking new twist.
Season 3 of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking premieres on Food Network on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with stars James and Oliver Phelps returning as hosts. But the show has something new to offer this season, according to an announcement on Instagram.
“COMING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON…. Harry Potter #WizardsOfBaking season 3 with @jamesphelps_pictures and @oliver_phelps!✨ ,” the caption read on September 1. “The new season will feature a tournament-style team format, with each team representing one of the Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. What house will YOU be rooting for?”
Each of the eight episodes will also pay homage to a Harry Potter film in celebration of the first movie’s 25th anniversary.
Seeing this unexpected change-up made fans even more excited for the new season.

Food Network also dropped a first-look trailer for the season on YouTube on the same day as the announcement. To accommodate the new team format, the kitchen looked a little different in the one-minute snippet.
“Harry Potter #WizardsOfBaking is returning for a 3rd season on Food Network and HBO Max this holiday season! ✨,” the caption read. “Get ready for magical new bakes, iconic locations, enchanting surprises, and of course, James and Oliver Phelps! What do you want to see this season?”
