Amazon's October Prime Day sales event (AKA Prime Big Deal Days) is coming soon on October 6, and I’ve already found tons of discounts on my favorite headphones, phone charger, and more tech gadgets. In fact, my personal favorite headphones are 25% off, and I’ve found GH Institute-favorite tech from Apple, Samsung, and more at up to 40% off.

Turn your iPad into a laptop with this convenient case that has an attached keyboard on the backside of the front flap. Use the back stand to prop up the iPad and type away. We love the slim, lightweight design that makes it easy to travel with.

Students and artists can benefit from an Apple Pencil, which allows them to draw and write directly on their iPad’s screen. In college, many of my friends used an Apple Pencil to take notes directly on the class PowerPoint slides, which made it much faster to follow along and absorb the material. It’s also a fun tool to use if you want to create digital drawings and paintings.

At my desk, I have this power adapter that lets me charge two devices at once. Throughout the day, I plug in my MacBook, iPhone, headphones, and earbuds, and it saves space by using only one outlet. My devices charge quickly, and it’s easy to remember to grab one charger rather than two (as someone forgetful, this is a lifesaver!).

Rated as one of the best headphones by our pros in the Tech Lab, the Apple AirPods Max 2 are comfortable, stylish, and have superb sound quality and noise cancellation. They’re pricey, but that’s why we love it when they’re even $40 off, like right now. Grab them in one of the five colors, including a bright orange or pretty purple.

Train for a marathon and track the miles on your hike with the help of this high-tech smartwatch. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is a rugged model that’s durable, water-resistant up to 100 meters, and has a long battery life. Our Tech Lab pros found that it’s an excellent fitness tracker for runners, hikers, and triathletes thanks to its variety of activity and fitness-metric tracking, precise GPS, and emergency siren feature.

My personal favorite headphones are the Sony WH-1000XM5, which our Tech Lab pros also rated as the best pair for travel. They’re comfortable and have excellent noise cancellation—to the point where I only hear my music in a chaotic Penn Station during rush hour. I wear them for hours every day and bring them on every flight, and I love the impressive battery life.

These earbuds are excellent for gym workouts and running, and they even won a Good Housekeeping Fitness Award. The earbuds’ wingtips help keep them in place in your ear, and they have great noise cancellation.

Featuring excellent sound quality, this pair from Bose is our experts' pick for the best overall headphones. GH Institute Data Engineer and audiophile Nik Greenwald described the noise cancellation capabilities as “the cream of the crop.”

I love wearing my Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones while running or walking outside because the open-ear design allows me to hear my music and my surroundings. That way, I can hear cars and other people, which feels much safer when running on the street.

Our experts said this TV is a great bang for your buck because it’s budget-friendly without sacrificing quality. The anti-glare screen has great contrast and detail, and it’s easy to use the Fire TV interface to stream your favorite shows and movies.

Samsung’s Frame TV doubles as a TV and a piece of artwork on your wall, so it can blend into an art gallery or look like a standalone framed painting. Our pros like that it still has great screen quality, but it can match your living room’s aesthetic easily.

Watch movies and sports games on this TV that comes in large screen sizes up to 98 inches. “I’ve always been impressed by the combination of value and quality TCL TVs offer,” said Olivia Lipski, a senior writer and product analyst in our Tech Lab. “This particular model delivers a super-bright, colorful picture at a lower price than many premium OLEDs.”

My favorite speaker happens to also be our experts’ pick for the best overall Bluetooth speaker (great minds think alike!). It’s portable, connects to phones easily, and delivers great sound quality. I love that it can get really loud but also stay quiet, so I can play music quietly at the beach but blast it for a backyard party.

“In our Lab testing, we found this speaker reproduced sound accurately across the frequency spectrum, and didn’t produce distortion or other artifacts when pushed to its highest volumes,” Greenwald reported.

This speaker is tiny but mighty. Greenwald said this speaker is “extremely loud” for its small size, is super portable, and has great bass. “It's shaped like a beverage can, so it fits into the beverage pocket on a backpack,” he explained, adding that the slim profile also makes it easily transportable.

The Marshall Middleton speaker has an extensive battery life and great sound quality. It delivers loud sound, and you can even pair it with other Marshall speakers to have the same music blasting through multiple speakers. That way, you can hear the music in every room.

This lightweight speaker is our pros’ best value pick for Bluetooth speakers. It’s lightweight, fairly compact, and can be paired with up to 100+ Soundcore speakers. It even has a 24-hour battery life and is waterproof. All in all, it’s a great price for a great speaker.

Charge your smartphone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once with this wireless charging station. As long as your phone and phone case have MagSafe charging capabilities, you can leave your phone resting on this stand and let it charge quickly. It’s a great setup for your desk, and since it only charges while on the station, you won’t be tempted to scroll on your phone while working (a hidden pro!).

If you don’t have a smartwatch, this two-in-one charging station is great just for AirPods and your smartphone. It has a slim, low-profile design, so it won’t take up too much space on your desk or nightstand.

Charge your phone on the go with this wireless portable charger that’s small, compact, and attaches right to the back of your phone via a MagSafe connection. I love this portable charger because I don’t need a wire, so it fits in small purses and makes it easier to charge my phone while at a concert or traveling on the go. But if I want to charge my phone faster, I can use one of the USB-C ports to charge my phone with this power bank with a wire.
